Traveling While Pregnant

Do you yearn for adventure but are unsure if you can travel while pregnant? I'm here to reassure you that you can still see the world while growing a tiny human, and you can even take them with you if you already have one. Whether you're planning your first baby-moon before your lives change forever or just frolicking about the world per usual, here are some basic travel recommendations for pregnant women to give you peace.

โ€ข Jamaica ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ โ€ข Bahamas ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ธ โ€ข Qatar ๐Ÿ‡ถ๐Ÿ‡ฆ (headed to Nairobi ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช) all pregnant ๐Ÿคฐ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜Š (LIKE & SHARE this post).

โœจTo guarantee that everything is in order, I recommend making an appointment soon before your trip. A good rule of thumb is to see your doctor at least two weeks before to your travel date.

โœจBe mindful of how long you are traveling. I would not suggest being gone more than 2-3 weeks.

โœจWear compression socks if you have a long flight and book an isle seat so you canst and up to stretch your legs frequently or go to the restroom as often as you need to.

โœจIf you have to choose between style and comfort choose comfort every time ๐Ÿ˜‚

โœจSTAY HYDRATED! Flying can take a lot out of you so be sure to drink plenty of liquids.

โœจI personally cut off international travel between 6-7 months and domestic travel between 7-8 months, but speak to your doctor and do whatโ€™s comfortable for you based on your pregnancy.

โœจ Be mindful of all food and beverage restrictions. dietary regulations are not the same in every country so it is your responsibility to ask questions about what ingredients are in various foods and speak up about what you may be avoiding digesting during your pregnancy.

If you have any questions feel free to ask them or leave a comment if you found this article helpful! Wishing everyone safe travels and a happy Mother's Day!
